1. What do children develop in learning electronics?
Children develop knowledge, interest and enthusiasm towards electronic /digital world.
2. What is the use of learning electronics or Robotics?
The future world will become completely automated; there will be immense requirement for engineers who could work on these projects. E.g.> cars without drivers, automatic doors at restaurant, manufacturing companies need robots to work in their factories & likewise the demand will be huge.
3. Can children understand or follow class on electronics?
Yes definitely, children can easily learn from our fun with education method, which is going to be more practical learning than just theoretical.
4. Will there be a textbook provided?
No, we do not provide books; since this is going to be more of practical classes, we will provide written notes at the time of teaching.
5. Do children need to buy components or kit?
No, we will provide an electronic kit, which will have all the components for their practice. In some cases, we will split children in groups to share components or device like soldering iron or multimeter etc.
6. Can children skip levels and choose a particular level?
Yes, they can choose a beginning level, for e.g. If a student knows basics of electronics, he can skip the particular level and move to the next level; however, in these circumstances he has to undergo a written and viva test to prove he has sufficient knowledge to upgrade to next level.
7. Should children know the basics of computer to learn coding?
Not required, but if children will know the basics of computer like typing and handling mouse, would be an advantage for them to easily pick-up faster and concentrate more on coding instead of learning the basics of computer.
8. Are robotics classes essential only for BOYS?
No, not at all agreed. We find equal opportunity for both genders in career-wise. It is not difficult for girls to learn it either. What matters is your knowledge and not gender.
9. I have knowledge in C or C++, would that help?
Yes, it is an advantage if children know C programming language or any other programming language. In Arduino, we will teach embedded C programming language. We will teach from the basics of coding, in-case children have no knowledge about programming, we will teach from the scratch.
10. Should children have computer at home?
Not merely required, but again if children have it, it helps them with practicing coding at home otherwise they can practice it by writing in their notebook and check for corrections.
11. Is STEM education implemented?
Yes, we will be following STEM education method using Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
